"Ryan's Father" by June Foster

"Ryan Father" by June Foster is a five star book! I have loved all of her books, as they are based on characters who has real problems her readers can relate too! This book is about a subject that many don't want to talk about or think about, homosexuality.  June Foster has written a beautiful story that deals with this honesty and yes it is a Christian book and it is a clean romance!

This book hooked me from the first sentence, there was an earthquake at Starbucks! That's what is so great about this story, it isn't about a earthquake, but the earthquake pulls you in. Ryan is a schoolteacher and in this earthquake he meets a nurse! It's your typical love story, Right!

Well, this isn't your average love story because Ryan has homosexuality thoughts about his best friend. Both of these guys are Christian and the friend has no idea of Ryan's thoughts.

This story is beautifully written and really makes the reader understand Ryan and his struggles and the thoughts and actions of the other characters in this book!

Ryan also works a summer job and has problems there as well, and Sandy's dad, the nurse, is against Ryan because he isn't rich enough! Sandy has her own secrets as well, why is she afraid of the dark?

This novel is full of  heartaches and forgiveness and it makes you think before you are quick to judge others!

I won't tell you that Ryan's story ends well or not, you MUST read this story yourself to FIND OUT, but I will tell you that you won't feel like you wasted your time after reading it and I think the characters will stay with you long after you close the book!

I was given a ebook copy of this book for my honest review!

Debbie, thank you so much for this review. I'm so excited to say Ryan's Father finaled in the Oregon Christian Writer's Cascade Awards Contest. My prayer is that God can touch the hearts of those who need to read this book and find that there is hope for the homosexual to change. God bless you, Debbie.
