" Pure Joy" by Anita Higman is a book of devotions from the Biblical book of James. There is also a few from Proverbs. The verses are printed at the top of each devotion and there is a prayer at the end of each devotion. There is also some quotes from other Bible Scriptures. These devotions are short and a great way to start the day or end it or in between or more than one a day. I I liked that they aren't dated so you can read this book year after year. Our home Bible study group study James in the beginning of this year, so this is just like a refresher so this book will be on my nightstand by my Bible and I will be reading it more.
