Join us in celebrating the launch and release of June Foster's book, Deliver Us, Book Three in the Bellewood Series. Releasing April 1st from Desert Breeze Publishing
About the book:
The young fraternity man who coaxed Jillian Coleman upstairs that night is only a blur in her memory. Now she lives with the unrelenting guilt that she aborted her baby. God might forgive her, but she can't forgive herself. As Bellewood's premier gynecologist, she hopes to open the Jeremiah House to offer teen girls an abortion alternative. Though the handsome and successful Dr. Jett Camp wants to marry Jillian, he believes her plan is a waste of her skills.
Riley Mathis spent ten years in jail for dealing drugs. Now as a Christian, he's trying to put his life back together. Working as a janitor at night, he attends college by day. When he meets Dr. Coleman, he recognizes her from the sapphire necklace she wore the night he stole something precious from her. When she confesses the choice she made to abort her baby, Riley can't tell her he's the father of her child.

"Deliver us" gets 5 stars from me. Once I started this book I had to keep reading till I finished it! This books deals with the guilt and shame that is felt after a woman has an abortion and also deals with how an ex con comes to realize that not one sin is greater than another in God's eyes.
Even though abortion is a hard subject to deal with I feel June Foster has done a fantastic job with this story. She tells about how God uses the past and the sins of the past to work out things for the good. This story is a love story but not in the tradition sense, it is more a love story between God and his children. As I was reading I could feel Jillian and Riley's pain. I found myself wanting to pray for the characters in this book even through they aren't real people (yes I really get into books that I read). I would recommend this book to anyone that needs to forgive themselves for past mistakes and sins that God has already forgiven and forgotten. I can't wait to read book 1 and book 2 in this series. June Foster is now on my list as one of my favorite authors.
I was given a ebook copy from the author for an honest review.

yes it did Karen!
Debbie, thank you so much for your review. I have to admit I do the same thing, sometimes. Start to pray for a character and then I stop to think they're not real. But maybe we could channel those prayers to someone we don't know. Thanks again, J
