I am sorry my Review was late but here it is. I lost my son to a hit and run on nov 16 2021 and stories with car wrecks are hard for me to read I am really trying to get back into the things I was before but it is taking a while.
I really loved this story but I had to stop reading a couple of times because the events that happened in it. Yes, there are car wrecks and death and those things are hard for me to read about but I keep picking up the book and I am so glad I did. Not only did those events impact me as I was reading, but these statements did as well.
“Trials don’t turn us into people we’re not. They expose who we really are.”
“You can love sacrificially because no rejection will change that you’re a child of God. Every other role comes and goes, but not that.”
This book is a story of learning to trust God and yes it really touched my mind and heart.
I can’t wait to read the next book in this series, this is the second book but I think a reader would enjoy it as a stand-alone if wanted.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and Celebrate Lit and these opinions are my own.
