" The Voice I Couldn’t Ignore" by Johanna Frank is a true account of her struggle with her daughter's cancer and death. Hannah is honest about her grief. She shares about visions she has had, I admit I struggled with this part of the book because I am not familiar with visions and such! I could understand the grief part. She shares that the sorrow and grief lead her to study God's word more deeply and drew her to Jesus. This wasn't an easy book to read but it was inspiring and hopeful!

About the Author

Johanna Frank is a Canadian author based in Southern Ontario, where she lives with her husband, and delights in time with her children and grandchildren.

"Not Exactly Mr. Darcy" by Carolyn Miller was a fun read. I am not a Jane Austen fan usually, but I did enjoy this book, because it isn't a retelling of any of her books. It is more a story about fixing up an estate and a fountain that was used in a movie that was based on "Pride & Prejudice". This is a novel for readers who likes clean love stories where the female and male characters aren't fond of each other at first. I will be reading the next book in this series.

Carolyn Miller is an inspirational Regency and contemporary romance author who lives in the beautiful Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, with her husband and four children. Together with her husband, she has pastored a church for ten years and worked as a public high school English and Learning and Support teacher.

A longtime lover of romance, especially that of Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer’s Regency era, Carolyn holds a BA in English Literature and loves drawing readers into fictional worlds that show the truth of God’s grace in our lives.
