My Review: 
"Eternity Between Us" by Stephenia H McGee is a novel that you will want to finish before putting it down. It is filled with intrigue and betrayal and is based on first-hand accounts from the Civil War. It is also a clean love story about a man and woman who are on opposite sides during the war. If you like stories based on the civil war and like reading about spies then "Eternity Between Us" is for you and there is another bonus for readers if you are like me and like children in the books you read, Benjamin and Emily will melt your hearts.

There are a couple of scenes that will make the readers with tender hearts need a tissue because it tells how prisoners of war are treated by a certain doctor from the opposing side of the war. I think if more were like Samuel and Evelyn, there might not have been as many casualties of the Civil War because they know all men have feelings and deserved to be treated equally.

Can Samuel and Evelyn learn to trust each other and follow their hearts?

I recommend that you read the section, "Historical note",  after reading the novel because it explains the historical facts that was included in the story.
