About the Author

Author Ashley Dawn was born and raised in rural Arkansas where she developed her love for writing while helping in her parent's office. She graduated with an accounting degree from the University of Central Arkansas but is currently working as a legal assistant. 

Ashley has been writing professionally for the past twelve years and has four published books.  Her Shadows Series include Shadows From The Past, Shadows of Suspicion, Shadows of Pain, and Shadows of Deception.  She is currently working on multiple projects including the fifth in her ‘Shadows’ series entitled “Shadows in Black and White” and also a standalone suspense titled ‘One of Their Own’.  She and her family make their home in Texas.

My Review: 

"Shadows Of Pain" by Ashley Dawn is the third book in the series and just as exciting as the other two. These books really keep readers turning the pages to see if the law agencies get the criminal. These books all end with a cliff hanger but it does end the current story, just leads into a new story.

It has been many books ago since I have read the other two books in this series but I believe

"Shadows Of Pain" has more close calls on the characters lives than the others. These books are clean love stories along with being mysteries and the main characters are Christians.

I was prepared to hate the ending of this book, but I ended up loving it because it didn't end up the way I thought it would.

I think a reader would love and enjoy reading Kami and Daniel's story but I really recommend reading the other two books first to get the complete story as these books continue where the one before leaves off.

I am glad I was able to read these books. I was given complimentary copies by the author and Celebrate Lit. These opinions are my own.
