My Review
I think any reader would enjoy this book, but if you are a believer, I really don't think you can mistake the fact "The Arrow Bringer" is a picture of Christ and what He has done for the world.
When I started reading, and it started out that Evie had cancer and had only a few months to leave, I admit I was ready to throw in the towel and say I am not reading this book, but I have to said I am so glad I didn't surrender to that temptation and read the book. It was easy to follow and I read the book in one setting. After saying that, I have say the book isn't really about her having cancer.
This is a story about Good versus Evil. This is another book that I would love to see made into a movie.
This book clearly shows that love is more powerful than evil and that forgiveness is possible if you truly have a change of heart.
I know I haven't said much about the fantasy part of the story and well that is because I want you to read it yourself and you might just be like me and want to know more about Evie and Shawn's adventures in Aletheia and in the "real" world.

Lisa Mayer recognizes, far better than most, the power of words. The Lamp Post The inspiration to write a book often starts with a dream. Mine started with a lamp post. I had no idea that after watching The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe in December 2005 my life would never be the same. From that moment, I read every Narnia and C.S.
