"Assessing Your Prophetic Self" by Paula A. Price is a book that I really wanted to like but sadly I have to say I didn't. It was too text bookish for me. I had to reread the passages several times to understand what I was reading. I am going to reread this book at a later time to see if it is just me, you know sometimes a book isn't just the right book for the season you are in and I am hoping that is the case with this book.
I was real excited to see this book at first because I am trying to find out what my Spiritual gifts are.
There are things I agreed with that are said in the book, We have to read and study and know God's words before we can even begin to tell others what He is saying.
I really don't like that I'm the first to review this book because I didn't like it but I will let others decide for themselves.
There are words clouds and etc, that you are to choose from but I was lost on what I was really supposed to do with the words clouds. I think this book might be a workbook so that might also be another reason this book isn't for me at this time.
Even through I didn't like the book, there are some points that are worth remembering that are in it.
I was given a complementary copy by the author and Celebrate Lit. These opinions are my own.

I enjoyed reading the post.
I appreciate getting to hear about your book. Thank you for sharing!
Debbie, I am posting my review tomorrow. Your evaluation is correct. I had difficulty with the book too. It is hard to understand and I really don't think it is an assessment at all.
I'm not really into these types of books, thanks for your honest review.
