"Weep in the Night" by Valerie Massey Goree kept me reading to the end. The book was hard for me to read somewhat as the story was about a car wreck, Anything with car wrecks right now is hard for me due to the season of grieving in my life.
If a reader likes story that keep them on the edge of their seats, then I recommend this book.  It was interesting to read how someone has to live in the  WITSEC? I am sure I couldn't live in it, I am not good with secrets!
I liked that the damsel in distress was named Debra, not to many people spell it lot that and I was glad to see it spelled liked that because it is how my name is spelled.
The characters in this novel seemed "Real Life. I really liked the faith element in the story as well.
I received a complimentary copy from the author and Celebrate Lit and these opinions are my own.

More from Valerie

Story ideas invade my mind at the oddest moments. One day as I sorted laundry, I thought how interesting it would be to begin a novel with: “I’d been in the Witness Protection Program for three years when my identity was compromised.”

The idea bubbled and churned in my mind for a while. When I sat down to outline possible scenarios, the ideas hit me like an avalanche. Why was she in WITSEC? Who outed her? I scribbled as fast as I could—yes, I’m behind the times and use paper and pencil to plot my novels.

And so IRO was born. The International Retrieval Organization is my topnotch investigative service, with unlimited resources and experienced operatives.

Weep in the Night is the first novel in my Stolen Lives Trilogy. IRO agents are the heroes or heroines in the series. Which agent will save the day?
