My Review:

"A Letter from Lancaster County" (Lancaster Discoveries Book 1) by Kate Lloyd is a story about two sisters who after receiving a letter from an aunt who they haven't seen in a long time travel to visit her   and each their story from their perceptions.  This story isn't the typical Amish and Mennonite Fiction as it is told from Rose and Angela who are not Amish nor Mennonite.

"A Letter from Lancaster County" by Kate Lloyd is a sweet tale that I believe that readers will really like or not like because this story is a great read for someone who has never read the Amish and Mennonite Fiction genre but if a reader is a true fan of the Amish and Mennonite Fiction genre, they might be disappointed that not more of their favorite things are included in the novel. Okay, let me also say that if readers are like me and read anything as long as it is clean, then this is definitely a book that you will like.

I think this is a story that shows even if sisters have different lifestyles and beliefs, ( and if you have a sister or more than one, you know that is the way it is most of the time) there is a special bond.  I really enjoyed reading about how Angela and Rose's relationship grew stronger as well as the other's characters relationships with these sisters grew.

I am giving "A Letter from Lancaster County" four stars.

I am looking forward to reading book two in this series.

I was given a complimentary copy by the author.  These opinions are my own.
